Blue Lagoon Cruises retires MV. Fiji Princess

Blue Lagoon Cruises has confirmed the retirement of MV. Fiji Princess following an incident on the 4th of April 2026.

The ship, which has been part of the Blue Lagoon Cruises fleet for more than 22 years, dragged her anchor while anchored in the northern Mamanuca Islands during a severe weather event. All guests and crew were safely disembarked at the time, with no injuries reported.

Following initial recovery efforts and assessment of the ship, the decision has been made to retire MV. Fiji Princess from service.
