- In March 2027 Waya will be upgrading their existing 7 Deluxe Oceanfront Villas by adding private plunge pools
- A new adventure activity on Waya island Fiji is the introduction of a Reef Shark Snorkel. Waya's activity team and boat captains have undergone training with a marine biologist to ensure the very best care is taken to offer this activity for both the sharks, their environment and guests. The shark snorkel has already become a very popular addition to Waya's extensive activities offering.
- Waya Island Resort have partnered with Natawa Village on Waya Island. Natawa Village is the custodian of the Naikawakawa Sandbar. Waya Island Resort proudly now has the exclusive lease of the Naikawakawa Sandbar which joins Waya Levu and Waya Lailai together. A truly wonderful spot for a 90 minute “Sandbar Escape snorkeling activity” and for Private Sandbar Picnics.
