Castaway Island Fiji first opened on 6th July, 1966. One of the longest operating beachfront resorts in Fiji, Castaway has welcomed travelers with the same genuine hospitality year after year. Drawn back by a unique formula, Castaway welcomes returnees that may have first visited as a small child and are now bringing their grandchildren to the island. Not unusually they will meet again a staff member who was there at their first visit.
To commemorate, Castaway will host a week of celebrations - from 22 - 28 November. The events will be themed around 1960's vintage and will include, of course a traditional welcome ceremony, a returnee guest appreciation event, an Environment Day and a Cocktail Gala.
