Fiji Airways has announced a major expansion of its Australian network with the launch of new direct flights between Nadi, Fiji (NAN) and Western Sydney International Airport (WSI), with introductory fares on sale now ahead of the inaugural service on Friday, 19 March 2027.
The announcement comes as Fiji has never been more popular with Australian travellers. Fiji posted its highest-ever monthly arrivals in July – underscoring just how strong demand has become and making this the ideal time to add a new, direct link between Fiji and Western Sydney.
Scheduled to operate three times per week with the modern Boeing 737 MAX 8, the new service will give Fijians an additional direct connection between the two nations, driving more tourism to Fiji.
Fiji Airways is the first international carrier to announce services between Fiji and Western Sydney International, adding more than 53,000 seats annually between the two destinations.
Fiji Airways flights from WSI to Nadi will operate on Mondays, Fridays and Sunday.
