Musket Cove Island Resort & Marina is proudly celebrating its 50th Anniversary, marking five decades as one of Fiji’s most iconic island destinations and a much-loved home for generations of holidaymakers, yachties and returning guests from around the world. Marking 50 years honours the people, stories and sense of place that have shaped Musket Cove over the past half century.
This milestone is also a tribute to the extraordinary vision, determination and hard work of original owners Dick and Carol Smith, whose pioneering efforts laid the foundation for Musket Cove and helped build it in to one of Fiji’s most enduring and beloved island resorts. Affectionately known initially as Dick’s Place, before named Musket Cove Island Resort a few years later.
The anniversary also recognises the many long-serving staff whose dedication over the years has been central to the spirit, service and success of Musket Cove.
As the resort celebrates this landmark year, Musket Cove is also reaffirming its commitment to the future — with plans to continually develop environmentally sustainable practices that help protect the natural beauty andr esources that define the destination for generations to come. Musket Cove’s published environmental commitments already include conserving natural resources, improving energy efficiency, reducing waste through reuse and recycling, using eco-friendly materials where possible, and supporting locally sourced Fijian goods and services.
What a proud and wonderful occasion for Musket Cove, her staff, current owners and returnee guests.
To celebrate there is also an agent incentive. Please email for the details. Wayne Deed
